Not sure what to say?

Thinking of you today "j" when I heard a Cheap Trick song. We laughed and cried alot together. Val Kilmer died this week, we loved him in "Heat". You've been gone almost 7 years (Patty, three). I keep remembering our last talk on the phone. Much love, your baby brother, Rob (Boomboski)

My forever friend. Until we meet again John. Always loved and never forgotten. "I´m so glad we had this time together, just to have a laugh or sing a song. Seems we just get started and before you know it, comes the time we have to say so long."

Thought of everyday and missed everyday.

My sincere condolences to the family. I met John back in the late 90's through a mutual friend. We attended many concerts to together to include a trip to NYC for the Allman Bros. at the Beacon Theatre. I was always amazed by the amount of knowledge John had about Rock & Roll. Through good and bad, John was a man with a big heart. He will be sorely missed

John Cornelius Drew. What a blessing it's been to have you in my life. From checking out your ginormous teepee to learning how to play chess from you (one heck of a chess player), visits to Colorado or NJ were always the best when you were around. I'm glad you came around often to get my dad out of the house and spend time celebrating your love for music at many concerts. And of course. I'll never forget meeting up with you causally in the middle of St Peters Square, neither of us with cell...

It just won't be the same without John. I will seriously miss him.

I will certainly miss rousing games of dirty-word scrabble, arguing about government subsidized health care (which he loved for himself, but as I pointed out, not for others), hearing his stories about travel adventures, and his stunning rendition of "little drummer boy" at our Christmas talent show. I'm lucky to have head some ups with my uncle John! ;)

Great Photo of John.

We went to DC alot. On one early trip, maybe our first, I drove. After a long day, I couldn't find the car. Not good! We walked for what seemed like hours. Was it stolen? Near panic and exhaustion, we sat on a curb to rest. Looking up, there it was, right up the street....Jesus laughed, John punched me hard! Brotherhood is found in the flames of agony and laughter.

Tom Soranno and his fam send their condolences to the Drew family and to John's many friends. I want to thank my lovely wife, Ann Marie, and my children, TJ, Kristen and Lauren, for letting me loose to go on the John/Tom adventures. With the death of Greg Allman, John and I started with Joe Bonamassa concerts. The concerts were great, they were also reasons for us to be together and live! Like sneaking behind stage at the Merriweather Pavillon to see Allman, and getting booted out! Or trying...
