Not sure what to say?

John Dudley was a standup guy. I had the distinct pleasure in my middle-school days of riding in the backseat of his dad's (Earle) big Packard automobile. I was an early 8mm camera buff (of sorts) and John agreed to star in my movie, but I could never get him to stop clowning around and follow the script. We both attended Birmingham-Southern, pledged separate fraternities, but it was always a pleasure to exchange greetings throughout our four-year tenure. I realize these thoughts are a...

I just learned of John's passing. I only had one long conversation with him, but it was a good one. Thoughts and prayers to his family.

Dear Jackie,
Erik and I just heard about John's passing. We enjoyed getting to know you on those Leica trips. Our deepest condolences to you and your family.

To Jackie & The Dudley family - I just learned of John's passing - my thoughts and prayers go out to you all! John was one-of-a-kind, and I so enjoyed working with him over the years when I started @ Leica Geosystems back in 1990. He was quite the gentleman, and so tirelessly dedicated to his family & Earl Dudley Associates.

Jackie, I am so sad to hear about Johnny. You are in my heart and prayers.
Love you,

Dear Jackie and family,
I am so sad to learn of Johnny's passing. While looking through my scrapbook a few nights ago, I ran across an article and told my son what a wonderful person and friend he was to me. I also just saw a recent Facebook birthday posting, from which he replied, that brought back such fond memories of him. You have my sincerest sympathy and love. Carol Huie Thornton

How you all touched my heart, meeting you years ago at St. Stephens. Those were days that I treasured so much, my church family. You and John both would hug me and first question, how is Daniel? My heart is sad for all of you, I know SO well that feeling. But John was a fine man with a wonderful heart. You will miss him, but heaven gained another wonderful smile. Love to all of you family, you will be in my thoughts and prayers.

I'm very sorry for your loss. It is so hard to lose a Love One in death, May our Heavenly Father Jehovach give you the comfort and peace that you need in the days ahead. John 6:40.
