On the Deck at Aspen, John in cowboy hat
John was very active in the Hudson Valley Ski Club and is remembered by many Skiing buddies. I can remember one of my early trips with the Club to Aspen Colorado. We were standing on the Big Burn slope when a flash went by yelling at the top of his lungs about 90 mph. There goes John! Ski fast and party hearty, that was John. In addition to skiing, John and I shared another passion - Beer! John, I will see you on that great ski slope in the sky and at Happy Hour when they close the lifts....

I didn't know John's family, but he had many friends. John loved his skiing and ski club friends. He had many friends at IBM. I was from both groups. Warm condolences to John's family. He will be missed.
