Not sure what to say?

John was my boss at Friendly Ice Cream in the Eastfield Mall store. I met the girl who would eventually become my wife years later there. John would schedule us on the same shifts on the weekend. He and Ed Ryan did this without being asked to do so. John has crossed my mind many times in the intervening years. Some many funny stories working with him. God speed John.

So many memories! I'm sad but I smile and laugh thinking of your Dad. Few people could carry such joy everywhere they went. (Too) many years separate us, but you're all still my most cherished life friends, and our (Mom, Cindy, and I) hearts are with you.

Dear Jeff, Mark, Karen & John, sorry for the loss of your Dad, thinking of you all at this difficult time. May he rest peacefully with your Mom by his side. Kim (Hanford) Chartier

Jeff, Mark and Karen, my deepest sympathy to you all.

Karen, I am so sorry to hear of your Dad´S passing. My sincere condolences to you and your family! May he rest in peace!

So sorry for your loss. John was my boss at Friendly Ice Cream in the Eastfield Mall store. He was such a nice man and I enjoyed working for him. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this difficult time. Wendy Kiontke

Dear Duggan Family. My condolences on the passing of John. I remember him from my days with Friendly Ice Cream in the 70's and 80's. A real Gentleman and great leader. Thanks John. R.I.P

I worked at Baystate West and John was a very nice man who treated people with respect. He was my sister´s manager at the State Street Friendly´s before I met him and he remembered my sister. He was hard working and I still can see his smile while reaching into the ice cream cooler. My condolences to the Duggan family.

Jeff,Mark,Karen and Johnny, It is with sorrow that I know about your Dad. So many memories come to mind from Old Saybrook, Branford and then even up to New York. My thoughts and prayers are with you all for comfort and memories.. love auntie Buzzie
