Not sure what to say?

What a great man, I don't know anyone that didn't know him from the Springport area. Always had pumpkins out for the kids and always great to talk to. What a great neighbor you were Bill, we'll miss you so much and I'll think of you every time I drive by and see your daffodils and tulips blooming every year. We love you Bill. The Jones's

My husband Fred and I first met Bill when he knocked at our door and asked if we would like to go to a Hootenanny. I said "what is a Hootenanny?" We were city folk new in the neighborhood. He gave us tickets. We had so much fun at it. Fred began building things to auction at the event. Bill was so giving. He brought us peaches and would just show up with gift certificates to The Hotel Restaurant. I would bake pies and make homemade chicken and noodles for him. He always had free pumpkins in...

Doogie, Sure will miss your energetic enthusiasm around Springport. Your spirit will live on in the community for years to come. Rest in Peace Ole Bud.

John was one of the best people we have ever know.

I did not know John outside of work, however, having worked together for 40 yrs I knew he would always be the same honest, kind, and dedicated person when you spoke with him. It would have been an honor to be called his friend so for you that were his friends, cherish that. Rest In Peace, Billy

One of a kind. Great friend, and brother in the U.A.W. R.I.P brother.

Enjoyed working with Duggy ant Aeroquip. Had many great conversations with him. RIP my friend.

My gosh, what a loss for all of us. Such an amazing man. I learned a great deal from John both at work and as a human being. I consider him both a mentor and a dear friend. He could carry a conversation with anyone, including complete strangers. I will miss our hour-long conversations. On behalf of John's friends and family at UAW Local 475, rest in peace my friend.
