Hi, y'all don't know me but Budgiie and I were close friends at PMA when he lived on Church St. in Charleston. John Floyd was like a big brother to me and I kinda worshiped the ground he walked on. I live of Edisto Island and the last time I spoke with JF was years ago at the restaurant in Jacksonboro during deer season. I'm glad he was a part of my life.

We have lost another Southern gentleman. When I was around Mr. Dunbar at events that I was uneasy at, he always made me feel welcome, along with the late Mr. McElhenny. I will never forget that. So sorry for your loss at Christmas. Your family is in my prayers. It was a pleasure to meet him.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all in the loss of your Father! John was my friend and co-worker upon my return to Spartanburg from active duty in the Army. We worked together at J.F.
