So very sorry to hear this news. John was one of the first people I met when I moved to Taos six years ago and I thoroughly enjoyed discussing the natural world wit him. Rest in peace, John.

One of my oldest friends, John lived with me and a bunch of other people in Edwardsville in the early 1970's when we were students at SUI-E. To say John was a unique person is an understatement. So many of those roommates are gone now, but I've discovered that as we age, there are less old friends still in this world with us.
