Not sure what to say?

I am so saddened by this news. I met Jack through our membership in the South End Jazz Band. I got to know him well through our many car rides to rehearsals and gigs. My immediate thoughts are that he is one of most sincere people I've ever met. And he was so proud of and devoted to Lindsay, Allison and Joan. And ending on a fond memory, thank you Jack, for teaching me to drink coffee in the car without that damned plastic lid... Best wishes and memories to you all...

I first met Jack when the 'Rusty Nail' was still the 'Meadows Inn'. Our band Clean Living played there many, many times. The relationship was warm and cordial. The respect, and yes love, was mutual. I'm deeply saddened by Jack's passing. I've said many times that after all the years and all the club owners I've dealt with there were only three whom I would sit down to eat with. Jack Dunn was the benchmark for the other two.

I sat next to Jack at AG Edwards for 12 years and he always had a smile and a joke ready, a good guy who will be remembered for his love of family, music, and great stories about the personalities he booked at the nail. He loved telling basketball coaching stories about his youngest daughter and bragging about her prowess on the court. My son was interested in drums and Jack sold me a vintage drum set which is still in my basement. We all knew this was a passion of his, collecting vintage...

I'm sorry for your families loss. I didn't know Jack but I loved the Rusty Nail - the first bar I went to at 16 years old. Those were the good ole days. This world was better off having him in it.

Jack was a wonderful friend, father, and always a gracious host. We will miss him terribly. Our hearts go out to you. The Chadwicks
