John C. Dupre

John C. Dupre, a retired bus driver for Louisiana Transit Company, on Saturday, August 31, 2002 at 3:39 PM of heart failure. Husband of Peggy Watkins. Father of Ronald J. Dupre, Dennis W. Dupre and Patricia Millet. Grandfather of Paul S. Dupre and the late Jason M. Dupre. Son of the late Dallas Dupre and Anita Guidry Dupre. Brother of Perry Dupree, Harold Dupree, Ronnie Dupree and Barbara Nelson. Preceded in death by his sister Wilda and his brother Kenneth Dupree. Mr. Dupre was a veteran of WWII. He fought in the Battle of the Bulge. Age 78 years. A native of Port Arthur, TX and a former resident of Harahan for 25 years and a resident of Metairie, LA for the last 22 years. The relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Memorial Service from LEITZ-EAGAN FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 4747 Veterans Blvd., near Clearview on Thursday, September 5, 2002 at 7:00 PM. Memorial visitation will be on Thursday from 6:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Inurnment will be in Biloxi National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 4621 W. Napoleon Avenue, Suite 207, Metairie, LA 70001 preferred.
