Charles Adamson

I remember it was 1956, dad (Charles Fay Adamson) and mom (Mary Pauline Duran) stopped in Oakland California and stayed a few days with moms brother (Uncle John) John Pat was a few years older than me. I remember he gave me a ride on his Harley. It had the leather strings hanging off the handlebars. I thought he was the coolest guy I ever met and for the last 69 years that has remained one of my best memories. I have always wanted to contact him but only now with find a grave have I found that part of my mothers side of the family. I was right, check out that Merc, cool he was. it was pretty hard to maintain contact back then, but mom wrote Pats dad regularly for several years. Except for Aunt Virginia (Chavez) that entire center circle of brothers and sisters is gone. Somewhere around 2006 there was a family reunion in Louisville and the Main Table was shrunken way down to 4 or 5 from that big family of 13 that we grew up with. Im proud of my Cuz and I remember that harley ride like it was yesterday. Viya con Dios favorite Cuz
