Not sure what to say?

Dear Jewell,
I was saddened to hear that you had lost Calvin. I still don't know any details at this point but I do know your heart must be very heavy right now. I am so glad we had the opportunity to get together at the last class reunion. It was so good to see you and Calvin then.

As you may or may not know, I was hospitalized August 23rd and came very near to meeting Jesus face to face on the 29th. I spent 115 days in the hospital and am in the process of...

Dear Jewel,
You and Calvin have shown me what love for family is all about and what unconditional love is. Ya'll have been so good to me and Jordan. I will never in my lifetime ever forget the love and kindness you have shown us. Your family is in my prayers. You have such good kids. I know you are proud of them. Calvin was such a great role model. He taught me alot. He loved everyone the same, he never showed partiality. Thank you and Calvin for your love and kindness. I miss him...

To the family of Calvin Durrence. My granddaddy was Alfred Jarrett Orr, whose farm was next to Segal. Anyway, I have always admired - from a distance - Calvin because of his stand for our Lord and his mission to be a preacher. Yes, God needed him in heaven and we will see him again. I know you don't know me, but I pray for God's strength to be with all of you at this time - strength that only He can give.
God bless you all.

In Christ

You are in our prayers!

Calvin was a true Christian Southern gentleman with a smile not to be forgotten.
May we all strive to leave such a legacy!

Jewel and Family,
I know the past months have been hard and the days ahead will be harder still. You are loved by a multitude of friends near and far, and that and God's care will strengthen you. I'm in NC with Jill and her family and could not attend Calvin's service. Take care of yourself through these terrible times.

Jewel, please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers - praying specifically for comfort and peace for you during this very, very sad time in your lives. Calvin was such a dear, dear friend. Warmly, Mildred

You are in our prayer. I sent the information to Carsten Vanderhuck in Germany because I'm sure he would want to know. All of your family at Monument Heights Baptist Church are here for you if you need anything. Love, Ralph, Nicole, Ridge and Lauren
