Dr. John M. Dusay

Dr. Dusay helped me when I was at a low point in my life. He may have saved me. I will never forget him.

My condolences to the family of Dr John Dusay. I keep very warm memories from Jack Dusay , meting him several times: at a conference in Argentina for fist time, when he came to Mexico for conference, in San Francisco when I was president of ITAA and he invited me to a party at his beautiful house after a conference, and the last time in 2024 when he arrived by surprise visiting the Eric Berne Archives in San Francisco, organized by Carol Solomon. Jack was one of my first mentors at Langley Porter, along with David Kessler. Learned sooo much from his passion for TA. May those he loved find solace in his long life, filled with generations of family and may all of us whom he trained remember his effect on our early days in Psychiatry. They were pretty Fabuloussss

Jack Dusay was the first TA professional I met in person (April 2019) in the early days of my TA Journey. I signed up for a psychotherapy appointment with him and he quickly figured out I was not there for therapy but to meet him. We talked for 2 ½ hours. It was the beginning of a special friendship.
