Funeral for John Mark Dutton, 44, of Jacksonville will be Thursday, August 30, 2012, at 2 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Dr. Scotty Hogan officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in New Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Dutton, who died Monday, August 27, 2012, at his residence, was born October 26, 1967, in Decatur to James Edward Dutton and Ruby Houser Dutton. He was preceded in death by his father. He was a member of Oak Park Baptist Church.

He is survived by his mother, Ruby Thompson (James) of Decatur; two brothers, Stephen Lane Dutton of Elkton, Md., and James Keith Dutton of Decatur; stepbrother, Pat Thompson of Decatur; and stepsister, Janova Reid of Anniston.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Minton, Heath Crook, Andrew Villa, Jason Smith, Justin Long and Cole Smith.

To Mark's family I am sorry for your loss. Mark was my friend from Jacksonville and I will never forget him. He was definately one of a kind and always made me smile.
