I am sorry to hear of John's passing. I always enjoyed talking with John when I worked at Laverty's / Heartland Coop and the many times since when I would see him around town. Oh the stories we all could tell. I considered him a friend and quite the character. Sorry for your loss.

You kids will always have many great memories of your dad. My kids talk about the times that they came to your place to see the animals for preschool. I am very glad to have know your dad and know that he and your grandpa are probably building fence some where in heaven. I hope they are not building it to keep me out! My sincere sympathy. God Bless
