It can be so hard to face the first year without your loved one, but the love of family and friends can carry you through.

Dr. Eaddy was an inspiration to many, but especially for me to be better at being a diabetes educator. He was an amazing mentor and friend. I shall miss him.

I have so many wonderful memories of Dr. Eaddy. His warmth and sense of humor, his zest for life, his endless supply of jokes - the patients he served loved him. We had good times at TCDC and at the UT Diabetes Center. Praying for his family in this great loss.

He inspired many!!

My heart is broken by the loss of this wonderful man. As my doctor for many years, he saved me from myself with gentle and kind advice for living well with diabetes. His intelligence and sense of humor were well known and highly respected in the medical community as much as by his loving family and many friends. I loved and admired him dearly and will miss him until I can see him again in a better place.

Oh my Goodness, both Maureen and I are saddened by the news of John's passing. It has been a while since we had seen you, and we were just thinking of you both this past week. Our thoughts and prayers are with you Virginia, and your family.

I'm so sorry for your loss!my prayers are with Virginia and your family!
