Not sure what to say?

What a wonderful man is was. Truly loved his patients. Only a few secretaries could read his orders.... But we loved figuring it out.

He is remembered fondly at Baptist Montclair
As a new nurse there he was so kind and a great teacher and Physician !!

Dr.Eagan became my doctor in the 1980's my mom and grandmother as well We all loved him so much. My grandmother lived to be 100 getting good care from him. During my mom passing he would reach out to myself and family to let know that he care and was very concern about the family So l would like to say to his family .We loved him so much.
Praying for this family

I worked as a nurse at Baptist Montclair Hospital in the ICUs and Home Health Care in the 1980s. I had many opportunities to work with Dr. Eagan and his patients. What a legacy he leaves behind. A book of his life would be sought after. He was such a phenomenal contributor to society and a wonderful doctor - the kind we all want to have. I always had a lot of respect for him and the passion and devotion he had for helping his patients. He was also kind to the nurses. God Bless the...

Praying for fam.Worked at Montclair as unit secretary .He was always compassionate & caring.

He was loved by many! As a former nurse at Montclair, I recall how much he cared for his patients and how he remembered every minute detail about them-- even at his age of retirement.

I will remember fondly the years I worked with Dr. Eagan at Montclair/Trinity Medically Center. From yelling at him over the phone when he couldnt hear me to laughing with him when he couldnt even read his own handwriting to verify orders he gave me to carry out! But the best memory ever is when I was a new nurse and had my very first patient code and eventually pass away. He came to the unit and found me after the code and he hugged me and asked Are you alright? It was the kindest thing...

A truly amazing man and doctor. Hate to hear of his passing. Prayers for family friends patients and coworkers.
