Still in my incredible Upward Bound memories, Jack. Ramona

Remembering our times at Upward Bound on the tenth anniversary of your ascension.

Remembering Jack with warm memories Ramona

Rest in peace, Jack. I am sure you are making celestial music!
Your Upward Bound friend, Ramona Harper

Jack, You were a wonderful Upward Bound counselor and fantastic piano man whom I will remember always.
Your Friend, Ramona Harper

I'm a former student of Jack's and was thinking about him today and wondering how he might be doing, which led me here. So sorry to learn of his passing. I was able to study with him for only a short time in the late 70's but he made a great difference in the whole way I think about music and his challenging assignments pushed me to become a much better writer and player. Great guy, wonderful teacher and superb musician. My sincere sympathy to his family and friends God bless you,...

I'm so sorry to learn of Jack's passing. I attended Temple Univ. Music Dept. with him and we performed regularly in clubs. He provided a very positive on me both as a musician and a young adult. I miss those days spent with Jack and often reminisce about them. I keep a picture of us on my studio wall.

I am just finding out about Jack's passing, more than a year after. He was a great counselor in the first Upward Bound Program at Temple University who made a great impression on the young students whom he helped, myself being one of them. Ramona Harper

Thank you so much for opening your hearts in memory a great kind man who I have admired since I was a little girl. He was always very entertaining and captured large audiences as soon as he was able to move his talented fingers on the piano. The memorial was so fitting. He would have been so proud of his family, as always. What a beautiful family and friends. Keep his music alive. I'm looking forward to his opera. Much love & hugs. Cousin Sue Minnich Weaver
