Not sure what to say?

I'll miss you John. I wish we could have gotten together one last time.

Mollie, I sympathise with your loss of this great man. John would encourage us, however, to remember the good times we have all had. And good times were abundant when John was around. Our breakfast sessions were quite memorable at BRI, and at one point, Harry Roberts came downstairs to see whay we were laughing so hard.

John's highlight at BRI was the Wilcox well he sponsored and studied. I will never forget him picking up that core and smelling that oil. He was in tall cotton.

Molly,
I was so sorry to hear of your husband's passing; I truly understand your loss. May God grant you peace and the comfort only He can give.

Dear Mrs. Molly, Kathryn and Evan,
Just wanted you to know that our families here on this side of the river are praying for you during this difficult time. What blessings you all have been to our families. We are praying that God gives to you peace, comfort, and strength as liberally and graciously as you have given of ourselves to others.
Prayers and blessings,
The Jeff Gleason family
The Bret Barrick family
The Conrad Guillot family

MOLLY AND FAMILY,

MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS ARE WITH EACH OF YOU DURING THIS TIME OF GREAT LOST. I DIDN'T KNOW JOHN AS WELL AS I KNOW YOU, MOLLY, BUT I DO KNOW HE WAS A GOOD MAN AND HE WILL BE TREMENDOUSLY MISSED. REMEMBER WITH THE LOVE OF GOD AND YOUR FAMILY YOU WILL BE COMFORTED.

John Bowlus ... man, hate to see you go. You and Johnny Cash were big influences on me. As Cash was on you.

Remember when you put me onto the goat lady of Goose Lake? You were forever touting me to good stories and felicitous phrases.

You left a big gap in our lives ... and now are leaving one in your family's lives.

Be good, my man, and I'll see you in the forever after. Tom

Any one who knew John will be touched both by sadness at his loss and delight...we will remember his guitar, his wit, and his kindness. He was always a gentleman and a gentle man.

Dear Molly, Katherine, Evan, and family,
Our prayers are with you during this sad time, yet we smile about remembering John--- his voice, his cheering, his actions, his life and his immense love for his family. We love you and are here for you!
Leslie, Warren, and Lauren
