Not sure what to say?

Thinking about you all today and all the great times we had. Camping, hunting, fishing, the tree house, boating, snowmobiling, getting stuck in the mud, getting our drivers licence, trying to get out of your crazy driveway in the winter.... get some speed to get up the hill and then slam on the brakes at the top so you dont end up in oncoming traffic... haha. Lynn you married a great guy! What a wonderful man John is. Loving father and friend. Respectful and caring husband. Even as a...

when i was just a kid, i sprained my ankle fishing in the brook, by mantle lake and he made sure i got home safe..he was a good soul for doing that for a little girl

From a 1965 classmate of Johns, my deepest sympathy to his family. I enjoyed knowing John through my school years and I know he will be greatly missed.

Gonna miss our many "town manager" talks, John. You are a true friend and compatriot. Will always remember you, chum.

Lynn and family,
Jeanne and I are thinking of you during this difficult time. John and I crossed paths fairly often after our days at UMPI until we moved to the coast. When he got involved with RC&D we were able to renew our friendship. We all will miss him.

Dear Lynn and family, We are truly sorry for your loss. No amount of words can ease the emptiness, but faith, friends and family help so much. You are fortunate to have all of those. Thinking of you.

My deepest sympathies to Lyn and Edgecomb family. When I started as a Community Development Director in 1987, John was a wonderful mentor along with Jim. He would always take the time to help when he could. I learned so much from him. He always had a story or two to tell. He will be sadly missed.

Lynn, Dan, Jake and Julie,
I am truly sorry to read this and I espescially am sorry I am reading it after the services, I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers, He was a great man, funny and truly loved life. An example to us all, work hard play hard and laugh often this is how I will remember John he will be missed by many.

My thoughts and prayers to the Edgecomb family. Economic and community development has lost a wonderful and passionate individual. I worked with Mr. Edgecomb on a project for Mapleton a number of years ago and remember his kind spirit and earnest concern for what was best for "his" communities.

Sincerely,
Linda Hardacker
