To John's family - My name is Ron Sloan. The advertising agency that I was Creative director of handled the advertisiing and marketing for the Mills House for many years. I designed the logos for the Mills House and Barbados Room. I worked with John and Tom Starling. It was wonderful to have a client who became a dear friend. John and I stayed in touch over the years since he retired. but after my wife developed dementia I have lost touch with several friends. I think of John often. He was...

Every year I see this I'm saddened. John and I worked together for years and he was a tremendous gentleman and a wonderful leader. He is sorely missed.

I am so sorry to learn of your loss. John was a generous man and I know he loved you very much. We will be keeping you in my prayers.

I was so saddened to hear of John's passing. He was one of the kindest and sweetest guys at Cheraw High School. I loved his sense of humor and sweet smile. Heaven is a little brighter today. May he Rest In Peace.
