Not sure what to say?

Jack was my Dad's college room-mate and life long friend. I will forever have fond memories of them playing sports with us and taking us to baseball games, beach events etc. My heartfelt condolences and prayers to Claire, Pat, Tim and all the extended Egan family

January 20, 2012

I have known Jack since the 1940's when he and family would spend a month each summer at Crescent Beach. Over the years he was active in CBIA affairs and enjoyed the beach and especially digging quahogs. I will miss him next summer at the CBIA meetings, beach activities, and my annual visit with Jack and Claire at their home catching up with family news.

To the Egan family,
Jack was a wonderful person. I am so sorry for your loss. My thougths and prayers are with you all.

Jack is my Father, Andy Carroll's cousin. Our Florida family enjoyed so many St Patricks Day dinners with Jack and Claire here during their vacations. We loved watching Jack and Claire do a quick Irish dance and sing our children a song or 2. Jack meant so much to my Father, and to all of us. You are all in our prayers.

Jack was my Mom's (Helen Egan Squillacioti) first cousin. She was an Army nurse in WWII and they enjoyed sharing stories of their experiences in the war in Europe. She always loved attending Jack's annual July 4th get-togethers in Mattapoisett. Thanks,Jack for being such a good friend and cousin over the years. You will be missed!

To the Egan Family, I have very fond memories of Jack (Mr. Egan) and your mom on our family's many ski trips to Blandford as a kid.....for him, it was never too late for another run! I also know he could always be counted as a friend to my parents, Bill & Nancy Collins. For that, I am grateful. And I know they will miss him. My sincere condolences.

Warm Summer Sun

Warm summer sun,
Shine kindly here,
Warm southern wind,
Blow softly here.
Green sod above,
Lie light, lie light.
Good night, dear heart,
Good night, good night.

Dear Mrs. Egan, Tim and Pat,
My brother Dan was kind enough to remember me out here and passed along the saddest of news about your Dad. My fondest memories of Mr. Egan (I would never feel comfortable...

The Egan Family:Our sincerest condolences and prayers at this time of your great loss.Jack was known to us his classmates at Holy Cross as a man who was "busy, steady and loyal;and a stalwart Knight of Columbus".He obviously lived up to that reputation throughout his life and now enjoys his eternal reward with his God.
