Not sure what to say?

Larry and family:

I just heard of John and Margarets passings. I had been hoping to get to visit with them (if it was safe for them to have visitors given the virus) while I was in Sierra Madre this summer to care for my mom who is 99 years old now.

When I drove onto St. Charles Terrace today the women who currently lives in my familys old house told me that John and Margaret had passed away. I was so sorry to hear that you had lost both your brother and your sister...

What s beautiful person. I worked with John at the Trucking Companies and had many wonderful adventures at the drag races. May you rest in eternal peace.

I sure miss you "Johnny Angel". Life is not the same without you in it. You always had a way to lift my spirits and a beautiful way of expressing your self. I say a prayer for you everyday at the 9:00 A.M. Mass and I feel that you are with Our Lord Jesus Christ, how could you not be? After all, you were truly an "Angle" to so many! I truly miss and love you. I can not believe that tomorrow will be a year since you were called by Our Dear Lord.

Thanks for sharing your love for drag racing & the Clippers with me
Thanks for sneaking me in at the races
Good times!
Rest in Peace

My heart was broken hearing that John was gone. I have so many memories w/him, Margaret, Lynn & Larry. I was hooked on Drag Racing after my 1st time. I had so many good times, talks, & laughs w/john. He was an amazing person w/a big heart. I'm so sorry 4 your loss, my heart is w/u. Sending big hugs, & love 2 u all ❤ will love & miss u until we meet again someday my dear friend

I was so sorry to read of John's passing in the Star News today. John had found me on Facebook last October and I wrote him back letting him know that we indeed went to Grammer School together at All Souls Church School. I wrote him back but never rec'd a reply. I remember him very well from those grade school days...

I am so sorry to hear of John's passing. We went to high school together, Alhambra High class of 1964. Thoughts and prayers,
Mary Jane (Maston) Harman

John, I know that you are dancing with all the "Angels" in "Heaven" but most importantly you are with "Our Dear Lord Jesus Christ". When you were here on earth, you were my "Johnny Angel" (but I did not know it then) I will miss you dearly. I know now that I have an "Angel" in heaven.

Dear John,
Whilst I never had the pleasure of meeting you, I heard about you growing up. My pa and dad would speak of you . Your drag racing legend will remain strong ! Thank you for the memories and may you be enjoying the cacklefest in the sky xxx
