Not sure what to say?

Dear Annette - I don't know if you remember me (well, how could you forget), but I was a very close friend of your sister, Mary Ann, and my sister had the long braids (Donna). Of course, you'd remember the Rado girls. Anyway, I am so very sorry for your loss. I moved out of Syracuse at the young age of 19, so I never got to meet your husband, but Donna Maurillo tells me what a wonderful man he was. It is so refreshing to learn that some people can stay married for so many, many years. ...

Dear Annette... I was quite surprised when my brother and my cousin (both with AA) told me about John. I remember him as a big, friendly guy who always had a kind word and a good heart. Both my brother and my cousin loved working with him. Now he's reunited with your young son, to live in the stars forever. It seems like only yesterday you and I were growing up and dreaming about the men we would marry. You certainly got a great one!

Dear Annette and Family,
My deepest sympathy to you and your family on the loss of John. I worked with John at American in Syracuse from 1988 to 1996. He was a wonderful person to work with. I am so very sorry for your loss. In the true Irish spirit I will raise a glass in his honor. Again, my sincerest condolences.
