To Mary & Family,
You should know we are thinking of you. John was a sharp leader. He knew how and when to cut through the garbage to get to the facts and answers at hand. I learned a lot from him and appreciated all the time I spent under him at ANL. Lyle C. saw this obit and called me. I don't have an address so I am using this instead of a card. You and John are well remembered here. Memories and time help us heal. Our best to you.

I knew John from his participation in the Transcendental Meditation program and recall long discussions with him on deep subjects. His scientific mind made him probe for answers about the world we see on the surface and about the world of consciousness--deep within. I recall his eyes would twinkle when he smiled.
Condolences to Mary and family
