Dr. Elkas was a treasure and light from the moment my sons Brent (95)and Dillon (98)were born. His love and care for the well being of all children are among the many qualities he possessed. We talk about him from time to time even after all these years.

It is so very hard to believe 17 years gone by...you live on forever in so many wonderful Dr John stories...you were special man a dedicated physician and a devoted friend...my memories will continue to comfort me and until we meet again ...with love ..Polly

We will always have Dr.Elias in our hearts. Our daughter was one of his first patients in Kearny. He was indeed the best Pediatric, physician ever.He also treated my daughters son. He was a very special doctor and person.

Oh Christine ..what kind words thank you so much for sharing and congratulations. ..every new life is a blessing and truly Dr Elkas held that in how he practiced...I am still working at the office and hardly a day goes by that a memory is shared from family still coming to the office...we are on 3rd generation babies now!..I keep this book on line in the hope fine folks like you will leave a kind word...he was a great man ...an incredible physician. with a big heart who truly loved his...

We recently had a new baby in our family, and each time a child is born, I think of Dr. Elkas. I left a note when I first learned of his passing, but with each new baby, I feel sadness that they cannot know the love and care we felt from this special doctor and man. I know they will find wonderful pediatricians, but there was no one like Dr. Elkas. He was my doctor when I was born and throughout my childhood, and I couldn't think of bringing my child to anyone but him. My "child" is now...

my love for you will never die...your memories are with me forever...life goes on but will truly never be the same without you...I thank you for the gift of you...wish you were here ...take comfort you are with those you loved and pray that one day we will be together again..all my love forever and always....Polly
