Not sure what to say?

I think of John every time I make coffee. I make coffee John´s way. Add a scoop to the used grounds. Saves me a lot of money.

I think of John often and tell friends the story of John enlisting in the Army to play on the Olympic Basketball team. He got turned down because of flat feet. Great story and new friends always enjoy hearing it. John was a good person and a friend.

John was a great man to be with and work with.I was a nys parole officer during the years when John worked the courts in fulton. He was fair, compassionate and intelligent and always unassuming. It was an honor know him..

Sorry for your loss Mary, Maureen, Lou and Matt. Sending you all my deepest sympathies at this difficult time.

I worked at the DA's Office for most of John's time there
John was an exceptional lawyer and a better man.

John Elliot was a funny man who knew not only the law but practiced it fairly and with grace. He had my respect in working with him and with his friendship. Hale and farewell, John.

I am very sorry to learn of John's passing. We were roommates for a year at the Psi Upsilon house at Hamilton College and when he was at teacher in Sackets Harbor where I grew up and was living at the time. John had an unusual sense of humor and a very serious side as well. I am sorry that we were not able to find the time to get together as we were both pursuing different careers.

Judge Elliott was not only an intelligent, fair, and compassionate jurist but, most important to me, one who understood and honored the concept of the personnel in the courtroom being part of a team. He always respected the work of the clerk, reporter, and bailiffs and appreciated the fact that we made his job easier. What a joy it was to work for a man like him. Finally, his sense of humor was always a welcome respite from the sometimes difficult subjects heard in a courthouse. The world...

John was a true friend for many years. He was a great person who did a lot to help people. He always had a way to make people feel better about themselves. Rest In Peace. A life well lived
