Not sure what to say?

To the family of John. Was John an advisor on the 1968 Humphrey presidential campaign? If so we worked together. I have had on my to-do list to get in touch to reminisce. My deepest condolences in your loss. He was, as you know, a truly exceptional man. Jim Stacy Kansas City colleagued of John Elliott in 1968

I never met you, John, for you graduated from Georgetown Law eight years after I graduated from Trinity College, but you are kin. Has it been a year since your passing? My prayers are still with you. Love, Norene

RIP John!! The Maletta family.

My wife and I are in complete shock. Our relationship with John dates back about 45 years. I was fortunate enough to be Jack's baseball coach at Gibbons PAL. Just like someone stated watching John at Jack,s Georgetown games always reviewing papers during the game. That started much earlier during Jack's games at PAL when he was 8 years old. He was a very good friend to me and The National WWII Museum, through which I met him. He was inclusive, curious, encouraging and supportive, always. And FUN! I will miss him more than I can say, and know how privileged...

I was privileged to have John M. Elliott as a close friend for well over 40 years.
He did extraordinary work in support of the expansion and development of both the National Seminary at Maynooth in Ireland, and the National University there. He was a generous, dedicated, true and above all, a profoundly loyal friend.
We will miss him greatly and we know we shall not see his likes again.
We wish him farewell until we meet again in the words of the ancient Irish language prayer,...

Only great memories of John. All through high school, playing basketball at the YMCA, shooting my B-B gun in my basement with our close friends in high school. No finer person.

John was one of the best of the best. An excellent lawyer; superb sportsman; creative and thoughtful person. I always enjoyed his friendship. He will be missed.
