My sincere condolences to your family on your loss. I worked with Mr. Englund at ANSER, and had the utmost respect for him and all that he accomplished there. He was a wonderful President and CEO, who was very busy with the running of the company, and yet, he was always generous with his time -- helping the research staff work on proposals, giving advice especially to the junior analysts, and stopping to share a joke. He accomplished many things at ANSER, and still managed to make everyone...

Jack was a Past President and Fellow of the Military Operations Research Society (MORS). On behalf of the Society I offer his family our deepest sympathy.

I was very sorry to hear of Jack's passing. The last time I saw Jack was five years ago when he, Marilyn, and all the kids and grandkids returned to Nebraska for their 50th wedding anniversary. That was a great time, everyone was in good spirits, and it's a great memory to hold of both Jack and Marilyn.
