Read MoreJohn Anthony Enos was my "Uncle Jack" - younger brother to my dad, James R. Enos of Fresno. Daddy died many years ago, but we enjoyed occasional visits with Uncle Jack and Aunt Jayne. He was well thought of in the family and the funeral yesterday in Los Osos was beautiful and patriotic - a perfect tribute to a career marine. John, his wife Jayne, my wife Elaine, and I worked many hours together in the Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 65, Arroyo Grande. John was an outstanding instructor in legal requirements for safe boating--Rules of the Road. We patroled all our local lakes and Morro Bay. We helped boaters who were in distress, reminded water skiers and boaters to respect other boaters, and examined vessels for safety equipment to meet the standards of the Coast Guard.
