John Erhart

John was one of my best friends, since they lived only a half a block from me on Pearl street. Play cards for years with John and his parents. He was also a classmate at Wahlert with me. He was a great person.

I winter in Phoenix, az am back in Iowa for the summer. I am working on the Wahlert 60th reunion and just found out that John had died. I lived on Pearl street just a half block for the Erhart's. We played cards with John and his parents hundreds of nights. Some of the best days while growing up. What great people. I even took his sister (Mary Ann) to the spring prom. He and Mary Ann are in my prayers. Rest in peace both of my wonderful childhood friends Joe

John and I took many tours around KCC in your golf cart. John especially enjoyed driving because he did not want to take our cart! Brilliant, Friendly. Maybe it is comforting to know that he is free of his health problems and is totally healed!!!
