Not sure what to say?

I am just learning of Jack´s passing now. My sincerest condolences to his wife and family. Thank You Jack for being such a fantastic person, teacher and mentor when I attended Trenton State College (as it was called back in 1981). I only attended for one year but you opened me to a world of pianism I would have never known without you. You always made yourself available to help me whenever I needed it. I am forever grateful for all you shared with me so graciously! I have done my best...

You are in my memory-recall very often. We were a great duo, and made memorable music. RIP Roger McKinney

I was recently thinking of Mr. Ervin, as I frequently do, and found this obituary. I am so sorry that I didn´t know how to reach him before, but I trust that he will know how meaningful he has been to my life. I didn´t really know what it was but agreed and he followed up with conversations with my parents and teachers to give me this opportunity. This was followed with many...

Jack was the best piano teacher I have ever had. During my college years at Trenton State I admired his style. He wasn't just a piano teacher but a kind, loving and caring mentor. When we knew we just didn't perform well, he always started by saying...."Well, there are a lot of nice things about it!" Even years after graduating and a move to Chicago, he gladly accepted a VHS tape of my songs and gave me pages of notes. He would not take any money from me to pay him for these lessons! I have...

Dear Nancy, We appreciate all that Jack meant to the music program at Abiding Presence Lutheran Church. It was a pleasure to sing with Jack and hear him play. We will miss seeing him and talking with both of you when we visit NJ. Our prayers are with you and the family.

Hugs and prayers to you and the family! Thank you for sharing him with all of us. He touched so many lives. I am blessed to have been his student.

We were a duo in many concerts over the years - a time of great fun, accomplishment and fellowship. You were the best! RIP.
