Not sure what to say?

Father and Mrs. Estephan brought their children to our home to visit Ernest and me as soon as they arrived in Grand Rapids. Since that day, he has been our close and trusted friend and adviser. He will always be remembered with love and gratitude.

To the entire family and extended family of Beloved Father Estefan - I can only say his connection to my family from my grandparents Edward and Geneva Ellis - to their five sons and families and on to all of the grand and great grand children was always a loving and uplifting influence. We mourn his presence here with you-his kindness and brilliance shone in all our lives.
I remember when my father Ernest Ellis was dying, while praying together in the hospital he told me I reminded him...

I have such wonderful, fun-loving memories of Father John. We always joked and laughed together and he always squeezed my hand too hard - until it hurt really bad! Then he would hug and kiss me. I loved him my whole life and will miss him greatly. God Bless each one of you - his loving family. I am praying for comfort and peace as you mourn his loss. Especially for Mrs. Estefan. He was a great man.

Thinking of you, the beautiful family who so lovingly opened your heart and home to us, the Goidich family...Greg,
Sharron, Damian and Taisia Marie. We
all have very special memories of your
love and treasured times together. God bless each of you and fill your hearts with His peace and Love. Sharron, Damian and Taisia Marie

Our hearts are with you in the sadness of your loss and in the joy of our dear, Father John, returning to his home with the Lord.

To Joe Estefan and your entire family, the Bowersox family sends their heartfelt sympathies. Father Estefan has done so much for so many here on earth. We will all miss his kind and gentle ways. We believe he is with God now and is ready to serve again. God bless him and God bless us all.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Jiddo,

I cannot express the emptiness that we all have in our hearts since you have been gone. We miss you very much! We were so blessed to have you in our lives and to have spent time with you in AZ right before you left this world. Not only were you able to watch us grow, but baptize us, marry us and baptize our children. You have touched our hearts in so many ways and we will think of you every day.

Me and the kids love you more than you will ever know and will...

Soad, You and your family are in our prayers and thoughts. Jennifer and I are out of town and missed the visitation, but were there in our hearts. Father John was a very dear friend, and will be remembered in my family as a part of our family, much more than a friend. We love you.
