Read MoreI was saddened to hear of John's passing, while watching video of the dedication of the Tiger McGlone football field. John was a great colleague at FHS. I loved it when he started telling stories! Sometimes he would be laughing so hard, he would be crying! My sincere condolences to the Evans family and the Flandreau community. John was an awesome man and will truly be missed.

John was a teammate and good friend of mine when were growing up in Kadoka. We both had a keen interest in sports, and he was a die-hard Dodgers fan, and I was a Yankees fan.
We spent many entertaining summer nights cruising around town, listening to baseball games (usually we could only pick up Harry Cary and the Cardinals' games) and looking for girls (usually without success.)
