I have terrific memories of John. He used to come to see my country band play in nightclubs all over Miami back in the 70's and 80's. My lead singer, Will Hyde and his wife Lynda were very close to him as well. We will miss his dry sense of humor, his special brand of off-color jokes and down-to-earth, down-home sincerity. He was a special friend. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family at this most difficult time.
