John Everett Jack Roberts

John Everett "Jack" Roberts, 71 of Fayetteville, died Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. He was born May 15, 1941, in Darby, Pennsylvania to John Francis and Louise Evelyn Reese Roberts. Jack spent many years with Scott Paper and upon retirement owned and operated J & L Transporters. He enjoyed playing golf and never met a stranger or a stray animal. He loved his family, spending time with friends, and a good Manhattan in a brandy sniffer. Survivers include one son, David Roberts and wife Joanne of Springdale; David's mother, Judy Roberts; his beloved Loretta Bower; one brother, Don Roberts of Glenolden, Pennsylvania; one sister, Lyn Bozman also of Glenolden; two grandchildren, Addison and Alex Roberts, two nephews and their families. A memorial service and celebration of life will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, January 20, at the Garden Room, 215 West Dickson, Fayetteville, AR.
