JoAnn and family, I am so deeply sorry for your loss. Although I never met John, the way that you always talked about him I could tell that he was loved. JoAnn, the way that you cared about me and all of the other kids at the Club, we all felt that you, and others, were "mom" when we were there. I know that because you had a positive impact in my life, it was a reflection of the influence that you and John had on your family´s life.

I worked with John at the Van Rensselaer Manor for many years. He was a great guy and he always made me laugh. I´m so sorry to hear of his passing. My condolences to the Evers family.
