Not sure what to say?

Jack married my wife Ann and I on Jan 25th 1975 in Hyattsville, Md. We regret not contacting Jack before he passed. Ann and I are both very active in St Matthews UMC in Annandale, Va. Our best to you.

Rev. Ewald was the pastor at First United when I was a teenager. He helped my family when my Dad was in a coma and we hade to make hard decisions. He also delivered a meaningful eulogy at his funeral. I have thought of him often throughout the years and was saddened to see of his passing. He was a kind and gentle man. God bless the Ewald family.

With fondest memories of you at First Church of Hyattsville not only as a Pastor but also as a friend. My thoughts and prayers to your family. I know you will be missed but I'm sure you are at peace with your Heavenly Father.

Tom's and my deepest sympathies, love, and prayers to Barbara and the family.

Our love and prayers go to all of you. I wish that we could be present to show our love and respect for a wonderful pastor and great person. As the one who both married us and counseled us - teaching us lessons we have lived and carried with us - we hold his fond memory and you near to our hearts. All our love, Anne (Fulton), Dan, Timmy & Kristen Wells

In loving memory of a dedicated pastor and a dear friend. We share so many beautiful memories, and you will remain in our hearts always.

Jack was a very special, sensitive and caring man. He was funny, too. He and Barbara were a terrific couple who were always fun to be with. My heart, love and prayers are with all of you at this time.
Love, Anita Byham

In loving memory of a kind and gentle man. My love and prayers are with you all.
