Not sure what to say?

Never forgotten Coach !

First met John when he umpired our youth games at Brown Park. Admired him when he played QB at NU. Soaked up his football knowledge when I became a coach. RIP my friend.

Please accept my heartfelt sympathy to the entire Faiman family. I was a graduate asst coach at Mizzou from 1981-82 and I remember the kindness John always gave to me as a young football coach. I will always have very fond memories of Coach Faiman and hope peace will come to your family very soon.

Kelly, your dad was an amazing man who impacted the lives of many. Many student athletes were fortunate enough to have your dad as a coach and a mentor. He was a great man and will be missed terribly. Prayers to you and your family.

My heart and prayers go out to the Faiman Family. Coach was the best I ever knew.

Sherry, Scott and Kelly,
Those of us that had the privilege and honor to be around your family were given a gift. John has had a huge influence on me and how I teach and coach after forty three years of teaching and coaching. He had a way of getting the most out of people. I still marvel at how he did it! To Sherry and family, my heart and prays are with you. What John has given to so many people, will always be apart of us in life. My sorrow is lifted by the memories that he has given. I will always keep you and your family in my prays, Good Old (SOB) forever.

I would like to offer my condolences to the Faiman family. Coach Faiman was a great mentor and leader of young adults and was instrumental in my life as a student athlete. My thoughts and prayers go out to the whole family. May God Bless you in this time of sorrow.

Sherry, Scott, and Kelly,

I am deeply saddened to learn about John's passing. I have very fond memories of my two years of coaching with John and learned a great deal from him, not only about football but about working with young people. His sense of humor and desire to reach out and help others will be among the many attributes that I will always remember. My thoughts are with the three of you, your families, and all who are hurting about this loss.
