Not sure what to say?

October 7, 2003

To all the family John J. "Smilin Jack" Fallon, and to those his life touched, we express our condolences during this time.

God Bless Each of YOU!

In Jesus' Precious Name and His Blood,

Joyce (Kevan's Mother) and Kevan Corkill

Jack was the best. Always had a joke and a good word to cheer you up. He was an outstanding human being who I will miss very much. I take comfort in thinking of three great free spirits Jack, Charlie and Ace, reunited with Mrs. Fallon and George Senior..I actually remember the first sit down supper we had at Mrs. Fallons' with Jack & Geoge Senior sharing jokes and quips as I'm sure they are today.Jack you were one of a kind.

Uncle Jack was a hell of a great man and one of the funniest guys I ever met. Like all of the Fallon boys, he was a smart, smart person too. If he wasn't cracking wise to me as a boy, he was walking me through some history or some math. He drilled the Pythagorean theorum into my 6th grade head and I will never ever forget how cool he was, how kind he was, or the zest and zeal he had for life. Uncle Jack was a terrific guy to my sister, my mom, my mom's mom, and to me. All the best, to his...

Uncle Jack will always be remembered by me very fondly. He was a kind and generous man who always took time at family gatherings to tell a joke or a riddle to all of the children attending. He had a very positive outlook on life and tried to share that energy with others. He was an inspiration to me in his pursuit of his many interests and the fact that he still made time for volunteer activities in his community. I will always remember him trying to cheer people up in whatever way he could,...

Condolences on your loss

We'd like to pass along our
deepest condolences to the
rest of Uncle Jacks family
back East.

I have such great memories
of this kind and generous
man!

As a little girl I remember
how his eyes would sparkle
and crinkle up as he'd have
a laugh at all the crazy
stuff us kids would do up
in New Hampshire.

When I got older I ran off
and joined the United States
Navy just...

Dear Lisa, Johnny, Suzy and Stacy,
When my mom called me last week and told me of your dad’s stroke (and subsequent death), I felt such a sense of sadness. I felt that because when I think of Uncle Jackie I think of life, energy, intensity, creativity and of course, some of the corniest jokes known to float among the Fallon clan since Grampa died.

Many years passed between my fond childhood memories of your dad in NH at “Pick-A-Pine” and the relatively rushed chances I...

Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Staci, Lisamarie, Suzanne, John, and all my aunts and uncles. Remembering the good times in New Hampshire and how much fun it was to be with you and Smilin Jack. Our deepest sympathies. Love, Michael and Julie Fallon and family

Dear Lisa, John, Suzanne and Staci,

Like Bernadette, I too have known Uncle Jack as a very special uncle. He certainly was a man who loved to make people laugh. My husband Cosmo told me this weekend of the prank your dad pulled on him when we were together in June. I am laughing now as I think of it. In fact thinking of Uncle Jack is sure to always bring a smile to my face.

It is not only his unique brand of humor that I will recall fondly but also his kindness....
