I was very saddened to learn of John's passing.John and I became friends in high school. When we were in college his parents would invite a group of the guys to their home for a wonderful pasta dinner before we went back to college at the end of the summer. We used to eat on the "veranda" at the back of the house and joke that as we looked out at Roseto that it was like being in "Little Italy." Our roads went in different directions after college, and I only saw John a few times after that...

To the family of John Farace, I was saddened to hear of John's passing. I knew John from school and spent many hours talking with him. I ran into him several times in the last few years and was happy to see him again. He was so friendly. My sympathy and prayers are with all of you.

My wife & I knew John at Moravian College, where he would often visit Reeves Library. We always enjoyed his company and were moved by his courage and good humor. He was a great inspiration to students & faculty alike. Dorothy & I extend our sympathy to John's family for their loss.
