Fr Jack was my cousin through a shared Great Grandmother called Bridget Farrely McKenna Tevlin. Although Fr Jack's branch of my family emigrated to the USA, they never forgot their Irish roots. I am so glad that they didn't, because it meant that I had the pleasure of meeting Fr Jack twice, and his twin Sr Joan once. The first time that I met Fr Jack was on a trip to Washington in the 1980s. Fr Jack met my boyfriend and I (now my husband) at the airport with a little sign and a beaming...

Our prayerful and heart filled sympathies to Jack's family and community. Jack lived a life of great faith and steadfast love. He will remain always a man of great piety and compassion to all.

Incredible life well lived had Fr Jack! Created so much energy and brought joy with his smile and laugh. Certainly was told to cut the line and head straight in when he arrived at Heavens Gate! I will miss my Uncle Fr Jack!
