John Joseph Farrell Jr.

I have just read about John and his family has my sincere condolences. I have tried to locate him through the years but have been unsuccessful until now. We played many rounds together and every one was a joy. We were challenged by the Carpenter/Baldwin duo to a match. I would guess that we were underdogs, but, as it turned out, we were 4 up after 8 holes and coasted to a 3 ad 2 win. They did like that very much so we were rechallenged and won that one with a birdie on 18, 1 up. Our dads...

John Joseph Farrell, Jr., passed peacefully at home Nov. 16, 2019 in Des Moines, WA. He finished life gracefully at age 86. He was the first of five children born to Catherine Kay and John Johnny Farrell in Springfield, NJ. The Farrell family dedicated itself to golf and its history.
