Not sure what to say?

My condolences to all the Fashings. Mr. Fashing was a towering and gentle man to me and his honesty was so bold and fearless. He was our neighbor at the top of the hill and I will always remember with great fondness his spending time with my father and me in the outdoors. My love of dogs was shared by Mr. Fashing and I will remember with fondness his true friendship. Best regards to the family, especially to Jimmy and Sheri. Thanks and love, Jamie

This man was one of the most influential people in my life. He was my grandfather. When we learned of John's death, months had already passed. The sorrow we saw in your eyes, Sheri, was deep, yet sweet. You are such a dear person, Sheri. We pray for your strength in grief. Missing John will never go away. He was such a dear man and a loving friend.

Facing Family, Sheri
We are so sorry for your loss.
John is a charming memory, a loving remembrance. He was so gracious to us, like you Sheri.
We love you Sheri, we grieve with you.

I was saddened to learn this week that my former schoolmate, John Fashing, has passed away. We were in the same class from elementary school (Rusk) through our junior year in high school (Austin) and lived less than a block apart on Nations Street during much of that time. My prayers on behalf of John and my condolences to his family.

I had the pleasure of knowing Judge John Fashing.
Judge John had a true sense of fairness for all who appeared before him. He is sorely missed.
