Not sure what to say?

Hi Felton Family. To this day, I can still smell Polo and think of him. 619 was a special place and he was always a special guest. I continue to think of him and your mom, with great affection and smile! Thanks for sharing him with us!

He was the greatest of roommates and then a lifelong friend. I loved him like a brother. He and Ann were very dear to both Jo and me. Our deepest sympathy to all the family. I regret that I didn't know of his passing until last week, 10/18/13. A cousin filled me in and then I found this notice. Love to the four children. Jo and Hal Hughes.

I remember Jack when attended Williamson High School in Williamson, WV, he graduated in 1947, a good student and a good friend, deepest sympathy to your family.

Friend from IPR Commission

Jack was so wonderful to me throughout my involvement with the IPR ... and after the company I worked for declared bankruptcy. He was an enormous encourager who opened some very important doors for me. I loved his warmth, character and intellect. I miss him very much.

Jack was truly a gentleman and a scholar. As great a professional as he was, he never lost his humility and was truly a mentor and a source of strength to young scholars. On a personal level, he never ceased to encourage my scholarship. He always had a kind word and a smile. Jack will be sorely missed by all.

Jack and I had lunch at Miami's IPRRC in March. It was always quality time with him. Now the memory is very precious. My thoughts and prayers to the family. Bonita

Dear Family,
I did not know Mr. Felton, but I have been a patient of his son, Dr. J. Fred Felton for many years. I extend sincere condolences to him and the rest of the family in the loss of their Dad. May all the wonderful memories you have of him live on and always give you comfort.

Jack was an incredibly accomplished professional and a warm and loving human being. It was an honor to know him, if only briefly.

For the past 3+ years I have had the pleasure of waiting on Mr. Felton and his family! To say he will be missed is an understatement. He was always a joy to have in the room. I was always greeted with a smile and a hug! No one else is quite like him! I feel very fortunate to have known him!
