John was one of the best bosses I ever had (at Grand Harbour in the 90s,) one of the most astute businessmen I've ever known. I'm sure he and CJ are enjoying a toddy or two. My sincere condolences to Donna and the family.

We just learned of John´s passing. I wish we knew to attend his service. He was bigger than life and we enjoyed him so much. Our first meeting was buying our lake lot in Grand Harbor. I also took his calls and set meetings up for him as I was Assistant to the City Manager. We have so many memories and stories! We had several dinners through the years and many laughs! After such a busy life John Rest In Peace you did it all!! Love, Al and Sharon Silva

I already miss his morning call or text, i thought about those yesterday and today as I had to remind myself he wasn´t calling today. Donna, thanks for sharing your husband with many of us that knew him. I´m so sorry we didn´t all spend more time at the recent wedding and reception y´all attended last month. Love y´all, God bless
