Not sure what to say?

My condolences to the Ferguson Family. I looked up coach on google and was sad to hear of his passing. I played baseball for coach Ferg at NCCC in 1975-76. I have great memories of coach taking the team to play the preseason in Delaware and Maryland. He had one classic line for the umpires that I still laugh at today. I will keep it clean and not disclose the comment at this time.....I admired the passion and intensity he had for every game.He was a very nice man and I am glad to have met and...

I met John nFerguson as a student at NCCC in 1970-71, first as a studentt and also a a writer for the college newspaper. He made quite an impact on me as a teacher, probably one of my all time favorites. He made learning fun and interesting. He was also very accomodating as a coach to an aspiring writer. I also found myself using many of his coaching habits myself when I managed the Litchfield Cowboys nin the Tri-State League. I am sorry that we all have lost a great teacher and coach.

To the Ferguson family
So sorry to hear of the passing Coach Ferg. I will always remember the season I coached with Fergie at THS in 2006 and will treasure the the memories of talking baseball almost every day that spring with him and Gerry. I loved hearing his chatter in the 3rd base coaching box (already ahead, eleven alive, all even ). We are very thankful that Michael and Matthew had the opportunity to be coached by this great man. Condolences to all his family. Our thoughts and...

To the Ferguson Family: I am very sad over the passing of Fergie. I have nothing but wonderful memories of Judy and John--The Ferguson's getting together with my parents and making the trip down from Torrington to come to my wedding. I know what a wonderful and cherished friend Fergie was to my parents. Whenever Fergie with my parents, there was always laughter... roars of laughter and the talk of the good old days in Croton. May he rest in peace and I send sincerest condolences, peace and...

We played together on Croton's 1957 champion football team. Fergie was a great leader and will always be remembered. He made all of just a little bit better.

Ferguson Family
My sincere condolences. I was deeply saddened to hear of Ferg's passing. I played under him for 2 years at NCCC. In 1978, my first season, we played with a roster of 9 players and I became very close with Ferg as it was the type of season neither of us had ever experienced before. I loved being around him in class and on the field. That wry smile when I'd see him standing outside his classroom, or his patented "yesssssss" when something good happened on the field. I...
