It's been a year and life has moved on, but we will always remember and miss you, John. Your happy smile and snarky comments will remain in our hearts forever.

John's birthday party August 2013

John touched many over the years, and I was blessed to be one of these. I will always remember the first time we visited after his diagnosis of ALS. I asked "how are you handling this so well?" His reply was "with drugs". Yes, he had medical help, but his spirit and humor was evident and he was an inspiration for all of us. As Sean said, "I want to remember not only the way he lived, but also the way he died." It was with dignity, humor and peace. We will remember.

John was a great man of God! I enjoyed giving him rides to church and to the hospital because he had great stories and jokes even till the end. I miss you John and will see you in Heaven some day! :)

To Johns family, When I joined the Livingston Police in 1978, John took the time and cared enough to 'show me the ropes' I have always been grateful for that. I helped him on a few sheetrock jobs as well. Doug Weber

Patricia, We feel for the hurt you are experiencing, we hurt too, Ferd & I loved John and have precious memories of the two of you. I'm sorry we didn't attend the service, we were in Fairbanks, Alaska, visiting our grand daughter and our great grandson. We just got back, our neighbor cut the article from the newspaper and saved it for us. Jan & David are the ones who bought your trailer. We will keep you in our prayers and will call you in time. Our heartfelt love to you, Ann & Ferd...
