John Ferguson age 67 passed away Thursday Oct. 11, 2018. He was born to George and Pearlie Ferguson on September 3, 1951 in Chicago, Illinois. Mr. Ferguson is preceded in death by both parents, one child Fontae Ferguson and five siblings, George Ferguson Jr., Amanda Ferguson, Christine Ferguson, Robert Virgin and Eddie Virgin. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife Annie Ferguson, eight children Johnneice (Alan) Arriaga, Ebony (Elijah) Shaw, John (Sabrina) Ferguson, James Ferguson, Joseph Ferguson, Jacqueline Ferguson, Jermiah Ferguson and Darryl Blu, two siblings; Georgia Ferguson-Myrick and Vidal Ferguson, nine grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews family friends. Visitation will be held from 10am until time of service on Saturday October 20, 2018. Funeral service will take place 11am at New Mount Moriah Church 1917 Carolina Street Gary, Indiana. Officiant Rev. W.N Reed. Interment Evergreen Cemetery.
My heartfelt sympathies go out to the family and friends during this difficult time. I hope that the promise in 1Thessalonians 4:14 can bring comfort.
