I want to express my condolences to the family.
John was a good friend and colleague. John, Rich Pierce and I had many adventures together. I always remember building rifles, wading the Muscenetcong, paddling Round Valley, and duck hunting Crab Island. I can still smell the smoke from Johns pipe that surrounded us in the duck blind as the sun rose (Captain Black I believe). John even helped insulate my new addition in an insulation all nighter so my first born son could come home to...
