Family - I practiced law in 1993-94 in the building where John worked, and we became friends. John told me a lot of stories from his time in the service, and I always called him "Master Sargeant". I learned a couple of weeks ago that he was ill, and had a chance to go visit him one Saturday morning while he was at work. I'm so glad I had that last chance to talk with him and tell him I loved him. He was a sweetheart, and I'll miss him. May God bless you all.
